the cupcakes

Here are the cupcakes I made the other night for a Young Woman activity. Yum. You should all know about Lars Own Imported Swedish Pearl Sugar, look in the sugar section. It was a step up from sprinkles - if there can be such a thing, sprinkles are pretty great.

Tomorrow morning Malcolm and I fly to Utah for a visit to family. Packing looms.

Those look awesome! Ok, seriously, how come I don't remember you being this treat-proliferative when we were neighbors in NY??? Because I am the ultimate treat-connoisseur! And now you just leave me to drool while every other post on here seems to be about something tasty you're making!! :) Have fun in Utah!

These are beautiful! I love the berries on top. (Real or candy?) And it's nice to know where to find pearl candy... I love having you as a resource for useful and beautiful things!

Wow, those are some fantastic looking cupcakes. Knowing you, they tasted fantastic too.
Have fun in Utah. It sure is snowy here (since we weren't here to "pray for moisture", it hasn't seemed fair to move here just in time for record-breaking snow).
