a house in the heights

Last weekend we spent two days looking at over 40 houses in the east Cleveland suburbs. A few days later we bought one! Here's some photos of our home-to-be:

Fireplace, mantle, and built-ins.

Dining room with window seat and more leaded-glass cabinets.

Kitchen.

Breakfast nook off of the kitchen.

At the top of the stairs looking into 1 of 3 bedrooms.

Upstairs bathroom.

Attic family room.

Basement and corner workshop.

Backyard and garage from an upstairs window.

Mailbox?

View from the front...

...and the back.

All in all, considering a 1925 birthday, things appear to be in pretty good shape. Some window coverings, light fixtures, and a whole lot of wallpaper will have to go... but what's a home without a project?

Very cute! How many bedrooms? Does it have a basement or storage area? I'm sure it will be a good place for you guys for a few years!
